Settings → Replace → Edit Search/Replace

In this screen the Search/Replace document can be edited. This document must have been specified earlier.

New rulesets can be added, removed or the execution sequence can be edited. A ruleset is a collection of Search/Replace rules, usually with a common theme.

Within the rulesets new search and replace rules can be added, the sequence can be adjusted and of course rules can be removed.

There is also a button to move rules from one ruleset to another. That is the button in the low right corner.

Since Word has sometimes quite some trouble with special characters (such as quotes) in search/replace activities, it is strongly advised to use codes for that. As an additional tool there is an option to match symbols with their codes and vice versa.
